Isaiah B. Brunt
“The music has the characteristic sound of The Big Easy (New Orleans) ... a stimulating blend of blues, funk and soul; performed with passion and panache” – James Nadal, All About Jazz magazine
Isaiah B. Brunt is an electric blues storyteller. He pays homage to classic American blues but his slide technique and use of a wah-wah pedal propel the sound into the present. A master technician he was voted Sydney Blues Society Performer of the Year in 2010. Isaiah’s album, ‘Just the Way That It Goes’, was recorded in New Orleans and voted best Australian Blues Album 2015 by the North American Underground Blues Network. US magazine The Aquarian placed the album in the top 10 Blues CDs in its January 2016 issue.
With a fine-picked band, Isaiah will serve up a stimulating blend of blues, funk and soul to keep your hips swinging.
