The Kiwi Jazz Legends and the Auckland Jazz Orchestra celebrate the music of well-known pianist, composer, educator and broadcaster Phil Broadhurst MNZM MPhil. Phil was widely respected and much loved by Tauranga Jazz Festival audiences. It is a pleasure to present this tribute to his music.
Join Phil’s wife Julie Mason as she leads the Kiwi Jazz Legends performing Phil’s favourite standards. The Kiwi Jazz Legends: Kim Paterson – trumpet, Brian Smith – tenor sax, Julie Mason – piano/vocals, Alberto Santarelli – bass, Frank Gibson – drums.
Followed by The Auckland Jazz Orchestra performing a selection of Phil Broadhurst’s recorded works.
