Akash Dutta – The Trio Sessions
Led by Tauranga-based pianist Akash Dutta, ‘The Trio Sessions’ is the jazz musician’s latest venture into today’s cosmopolitan world of jazz and its interactions with various cultures.
Joined by local musicians Tyrone Dyer (drums) and Tim Gillon (bass) the trio will play re-interpretations of well-known pop tunes by artists such as Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Muse, John Mayer, and Sting along with Akash’s original compositions.
