Taking its name from the Radiohead classic, Everything in Its Right Place explores the colours and possibilities of modern large-ensemble writing. Featuring arrangements by Mark Dennison, The Tauranga Big Band brings together a set of contemporary charts and thoughtful big band interpretations of pop and rock tunes, creating a programme that sits comfortably between tradition and innovation.

Tauranga’s own Big Band brings together world-class musicians who share a commitment to both excellence and community. As a community ensemble, the band seeks to entertain and to spread the joy of big band music, while also creating meaningful development pathways for emerging youth musicians. The result is a sound that balances experience with fresh energy, grounded in a genuine love for the music.
