SWIM ‘N’ JAZZ

Dive into the vibrant afternoon at the Dave Hume Pools in Katikati as they host a special Swim ’n’ Jazz Day for the National Jazz Festival on Sunday, 5 April 2026.

From 2 pm to 4 pm, the pools will come alive to the smooth sounds of a fantastic live jazz act, creating the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed, refreshing day in the water. With the sun overhead and music in the air, it’s the ideal setting to unwind, splash about, and enjoy something a little different during the festival week.

Bring the whole crew – family, friends and anyone keen for a good time.

Alongside music, you will find delicious food trucks, tasty treats, and plenty of pool floaties to keep the fun flowing. Whether you’re drifting on the water or chilling poolside, it will be an afternoon packed with laughter, rhythm and community spirit.

A unique festival highlight not to be missed.
